Feel Rich Documentary Review

Fighting against my dilatory moves
Looking on the outside to improve
Wait and sit and know life is now
Delve deep within and you will know WOW

Dear EveryBeauty,

I've been dying to write something on here and I feel writing about this is the way to go.

I stumbled upon a documentary a couple days ago on Netflix called "Feel Rich" written by (hold the phone) Quincy Jones III! Anybody know Quincy Jones? :) The man who's worked with Micheal Jackson and Frank Sinatra!!! Plus saw pictures of Common (a very awake recording artist still alive and well in the music industry) in the picture previews of the movie, so I clicked on it! :) Soo thankful I did!

What it is all about: "wealth" is "your health", nothing else! Haha that rhymed!
Spiritually, Mentally, Physically, Emotionally.... All four.
Recording artists, recording producers, activists and more are saying it all.

Anybody know Fat Joe? Well he lost A TON of weight because he was having soo many health issues (plus he saw his friends drop like flies from the lifestyle of being so unhealthy), he made a change. Slim Thug, The Game... to name a couple more, pitched in on how taking care of yourself (first and foremost) is the most important in life. Russell Simmons (co-founder of Def Jam Recordings)... all zen with his buddha statue, tree, crystals and candle behind him and a mala bead necklace hanging down his neck.... totally spoke about the importance of how your health (your richness in life) comes from within you, not your external environment (things). Common, aka Lonnie Rashid Lynn Jr., explained that once you feel centered and alive inside, your external body glows and you get compliments like, "hey you look hot" or "hey your skin in glowing", are just the cherries on top. What you feel most and happiest about is within you, the thing that you can control, the thing, the core, the source, the silence only you can touch and feel. That is where true happiness (life richness) stems from.

The reason why I love this documentary is because I LOVE music, I LOVE singing songs that have a message and can change the world. Common, he recorded "Glory" with John Legend and that has a deep message. Made me feel there is hope (in the music industry) to record songs with recording artists/producers that are awake. That they know that true wealth comes from within. That strong stillness within.

They showed statistics on lower grade schools in the south that had soo much crime level, that once they implemented a meditation class their grades went up and the crime level decreased.

Check it out! :)

That's all Lovelies 💜💙

Take care,
Ahn xxooxxoo
