Nature's Tapestry
Shades of vermillion dance around
Becoming big, becoming a town
Little whispers are the starting sounds
Of this new found playground
That will blossom into, the profound

Dear EveryBeauty,
Geordie Shore used to be the one tv show I dreamed of living in. Drinking and partying and doing sexual favours looked soo glamorous (with a very sexy British accent). All the while getting paid to do that. Imagine waking up, hung over, sprawled half naked in bed with a stud drooling in the next pillow beside you, make-up smeared on your face, hammers in your head and needing to get dolled up again to repeat the night for more money. I don't know why that appealed soo much to me, but to do the activities that people call "fun" daily just seemed radical/intriguing! I guess at the time, my life wasn't in such a great space, so my dream was to escape into the tv show, become one of them.
I know "reality" tv shows are just staged or even more staged as any scripted tv show. Manipulating the persons emotions (as producers can do) to create a platform for great tv scenes. But I just dreamed of having such a chaotic life (emotional highs, deep lows, camaraderie, etc) as my life was a very plain piece of flimsy white bread. I don't know when I stopped but looking back I realized that the glitz and the glam is all part of the show and isn't real. The real part is when the cameras are shut off and they probably melt-down multiple times within themselves, feeling deeply insecure, unloved and empty. Which make for great tv reality shows. I remember one of the main girls had to leave for personal reasons.
Everybody has a different path on this Earth and it's all part of Nature's Tapestry. A few days ago, it just occurred to me. You cannot compare yourself to other people because that other person has lived a completely different life. You can compare yourself to them as much as you like, but it won't get you to true inner happiness. Maybe compare yourself to them as in, their traits; they are very vivacious or very down-to-earth and know that you also have that within yourself, so you're looking at yourself and loving it.
It's all about walking each other home.
We're all walking each other home. ~ Ram Dass
Our differences and our similarities are part of what this planet is all about. It would be a very big yawn fest if everyone was the same, talking the same, acting the same, etc. I am very thankful everybody is different and not like me. My power is my me-ness. :P There is soo much wonder in life that has not even been touch and we just have to peal back our dogma-minded eyes to see the beauty in everything. Set that intent and it will come back ten fold. You are blessed and unconditionally loved beyond measure!
Luv you all,
